The mid 1990's saw Rescued Racers make the transition from R.A.G.S. and a good number of people made enquiries regarding greyhound adoption. Because the whole purpose in setting up this site was to educate, and show people what good pets these dogs make, we added the greyhound adoption page.

Rescued Racers always has a good number of greyhounds looking for that special loving home. All our greyhounds are assessed and come fully prepared prior to adoption. You can see below, we've included a quick breakdown of what it costs Rescued Racers to ready a greyhound for adoption. Every greyhound is neutered, fully vaccinated and micro chipped. They come with a leather lead and collar combination, a box muzzle and a 4 week Pet Plan Emergency Insurance for that extra peace of mind. Unfortunately, we must ask for a non-refundable donation to help continue the work. Please feel free to contact us using any of the available methods for a chat regarding available dogs. If you have a special preference then this can be discussed at your home visit and we will do our very best to meet your requirements, however, we can't do designer dogs and when placing a dog we put the emphasis on the animals personality rather than their looks.
