Ginny weighed twenty one pounds when we got her.
She had sores on her hips and shoulders from where she had been lying on the concrete floor of an outside passageway.
She was infested with worms and had lost most of her fur. She was very intelligent and watched Ricky our Alsatian to see what to do whenever a new situation arose.
Because of her lack of fur, she would always want to wear a coat and hat to go out walking unless the weather was fine. When Ricky became old she would guard him from the unwelcome attentions of other dogs. She eventually succumbed to cancer but at least her last years were good for her.
