This is Will, who came into my life in January 2001. He has taught me so much about what it is to be calm and quiet. Unfortunately, he hasn't had quite the same effect on my manic Labrador cross, but we can't expect miracles!

He has so enamoured my partner and me, that we have decided to get another Greyhound and I can't wait to welcome another of these beautiful and gentle creatures into our lives.

Will enjoys bouncing around the fields next to our house and jumping in the river - I think this probably makes him one of the world's only swimming Greyhounds! (Unusual - my greyhounds don't even like getting their feet wet) The first time he did it my heart was in my mouth (greyhounds not really being built for swimming), but he swims well. It seems to make him go a bit loopy when he gets out, though, and he has a mad five minutes running round in circles. However, he soon makes up for that when we get home by collapsing on the sofa or my bed for the rest of the day!
