Bella - our twenty ninth contribution (by  Sam Graham)

Hello everyone and thanks for your continued support for Rescued Racers. We have gone through our highs and our lows over the past few months. One of the low points in my own life was the sudden and tragic death of my beloved Rusty. He was laid to rest at 11:25AM on Sunday May 5th 2002 after suffering a major stroke and a bleed on the spinal cord. I miss him so much and his death left a void that just could not seem to be filled. I devoted all my time to Flynn who now was left alone and he did go through a stage where he was very destructive, but thankfully he gradually came around. which leads me to Bella. She had been homed to a couple in North Wales but due to a family illness was reluctantly returned. She went into kennels for a week and then went with us on a home visit to the South of England, however as yet we have not as yet heard from the couple in question. So rather than her go back to kennels I spoke to Paula about her future and decided to have her for a few days and see how she and Flynn would bond, and bonded they have. Flynn is now a lot more confident, she is happy and has put all the weight she lost back on and the house ... well the house feels complete again. I still miss Rusty and Sunny dearly and they will never be replaced but thanks to Bella things have made a little easier to bear.

Thanks again everyone who supports Rescued Racers. Please continue to visit us when ever you can.

Best wishes

Sam.
